Conventional tarpon rods that won't break the bank

I am looking for ideas and input on tarpon conventional rods. I am currently using shimano tallus kingfish rods and want/need to upgrade to a heavier rod. I have been looking at the Star Stellar and the ugly stick custom both in 8' xh 20-50# class. I don't want to break the bank buying them, I need something that is durable and will stand up to a little abuse from clients.

That's probably a good choice but I would personally go with 6'6" or 7'. I've never used a Ugly Stick for tarpon but they use them in Costa Rica at Rio Parismina and they catch thousands of tarpon a year on those rods.
