Project Tarpon 2010 Season Long Louisiana Tournament
Rules:

(1) Must register via PM to the Administrator no later than noon on July 1, 2010 - indicate whether you are pro or amateur (Pro is anybody who has taken someone else fishing for hire or for wages in the last three years - if you are not sure if that fits you, PM the Administrator, whose decision on division classification will be final) - registration is per boat in the amateur division, not angler - in the Pro Division it is by the Guide/Captain of the boat;

(2) No entry fee;

(3) All fish must be at least 48 inches - any fish that might be questioned in a photograph should be measured to ensure the tournament officials allow it - most will be eyeballed based on the photo (see below);

(4) All fish must be released alive;

(5) A photograph of each fish must be POSTED on the Louisiana State page within one week of being caught;

(6) All fish must be caught in Louisiana state waters;

(7) All fish MUST be DNA sampled - you must obtain DNA sampling kits directly from Kathy Guindon (no charge to you) and return your samples to her for catch verification. Each fish must be a unique fish to count (i.e. if you happen to catch the same tarpon twice, it will only count as one release) Her contact information is:

(9) You may compete in both Texas and Louisiana but fish can only count in one or the other - not both - obviously.

{all decisions of Project Tarpon Administrators are final with no recourse - by entering you agree to the foregoing and agree you are completely responsible for your actions and conduct while fishing - Project Tarpon has no responsibility or liability for your actions - unsportsmanlike or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated if reported}
